    Students' Entrepreneurial Engagement and Student Entrepreneurship: Do Coding and Digital Skills Matter?

    The study by Sansone et al. (2024) of UCD, presents a groundbreaking exploration into how coding and digital skills impact students’ entrepreneurial engagement and entrepreneurship. With a sample of 2,608 Italian university students, the research reveals a positive correlation between these skills and both entrepreneurial intentions and active business pursuits. The authors argue, “Coding knowledge serves as a catalyst for nurturing students’ entrepreneurial intentions,” underscoring the essential role of technical skills in today’s entrepreneurial landscape.
