CEMS School of the Year Award

Honouring a member school that exemplifies the CEMS spirit through teaching, innovation, collaboration, and student support.

Introduced in 2009, the School of the Year Award celebrates the member school that has demonstrated exceptional performance in delivering the CEMS Master in International Management (MIM).

The award recognises not only the quality of teaching, but also the school’s commitment to the CEMS values of global responsibility, sustainability, diversity, inclusion, and ethics. It highlights schools that go beyond expectations to enrich the student experience, engage with alumni and corporate partners, and contribute to the strength of the alliance as a whole.


Eligibility & Nominations

  • Open to all CEMS member schools.
  • Based on the annual student satisfaction survey from the academic year.
  • Nominees are identified by the Quality Subcommittee of the Academic Committee.
     

Selection Process

  • The Academic Committee reviews and votes.
  • Award presented annually since 2009.
     

Evaluation Criteria

Self-assessment reports should highlight how the school integrates CEMS values into its courses and activities, promotes innovation and collaboration with corporate partners and alumni, supports students across borders, and shares best practices that inspire the wider alliance.

 

Get Involved 

Your voice matters: 

  • Students contribute directly to this award by sharing their feedback in term student satisfaction surveys, helping highlight excellence across the alliance. 
  • Academic Directors and Programme Managers are also actively involved in the reporting process, ensuring each school’s achievements and best practices are recognised.
