Keio has a proud history as Japan's very first private institution of higher learning, which dates back to the formation of a school for Dutch studies in 1858 in Edo (now Tokyo) by founder Yukichi Fukuzawa. CEMS Club Tokyo
The CEMS Club Tokyo is an association of CEMS students at Keio University that strives to ensure a vibrant and dynamic CEMS community in Tokyo, which aims to organize academic, corporate, as well as social events to foster long-life relationships with co-students, alumni, and corporate & social partners. It was awarded the First Prize in the CEMS Club Awards in Fall 2014.
