CEMS Nordic Forum 2026: Shaping Business Beyond Agenda 2030

From March 26th to 29th, 2026, the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) welcomed 180 CEMS students from over 20 member schools for a record-breaking Nordic Forum. Centered on the theme “Shaping Business Beyond Agenda 2030,” this four-day event pushed the boundaries of traditional regional forums, blending rigorous academic skill-building with high-level corporate networking and deep community engagement.

Setting a New Benchmark in the Nordics

After months of meticulous preparation involving over 1,500 hours of planning, the CEMS Nordic Forum 2026 arrived at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) with an unprecedented scale. The forum was three times larger than traditional regional events, successfully uniting a diverse cohort of 180 students representing more than 20 different host schools across the global CEMS alliance.

The event featured a dense program of 18 distinct activities, including skills development, corporate interaction, and social traditions. By involving five times as many schools as its ordinary scope, the forum of the year acted as a massive information hub.

Beyond 2030: Professional Insights and Innovation

At the heart of the forum was the ambition to look past current global milestones. Students engaged with 14 Corporate Partners through interactive Skill Seminars and a high-capacity Career Fair. A significant highlight was the first-ever CEMS Hackathon, which challenged participants to become vibe coders and solve complex, tech-driven business problems.

The academic program was further enriched by an Alumni Panel, where former CEMSies shared insights on navigating the shifting labor market and the skills required to thrive in a post-2030 reality. This focus on Shaping Business transformed the forum from a simple networking event into a proactive laboratory for future leadership.

"This has been the best event we have attended in the past year. For whatever reason, SSE always does events like this the best."  Thea Roseth, Corporate Partner Representative @ L'Oreal

Human Moments and Nordic Traditions

While the corporate side of the forum was rigorous, the secret sauce of the event lay in the human moments between sessions. The Sustainability & Wellbeing team from CEMS Club Stockholm introduced a Mindfulness session, allowing students to ground themselves through breathwork and meditation, a necessary pause in a high-energy four-day schedule.

Cultural immersion played a vital role, from a scavenger hunt across Stockholm to a CEMS Club Knowledge Exchange led by the CEMS Club Stockholm social team to share best practices across the alliance. The forum concluded with a stunning Final Banquet in the iconic SSE Atrium. The evening featured traditional Swedish student performances by the SASSE Music Society, followed by a final celebration at one of Stockholm’s premier venues, ensuring the spirit of the CEMS community was forged through lasting bonds.

A Collective Success

The success of the Nordic Forum 2026 was a testament to the collaboration between the CEMS Nordic Forum event team, the CEMS Club Stockholm, CEMS Student Board, and the CEMS Global Office. With 100% positive feedback from participants, the event proved that when students, academic institutions, and corporate leaders join together, they can envision a future where innovation and integrity go hand in hand to shape the world beyond 2030.
