A Warm and Historic Celebration in Brazil

The 2025 CEMS Master in International Management Graduation Ceremony brought a special sense of energy and togetherness as the community came together in Rio de Janeiro. Beautifully hosted by FGV EAESP  (Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo da Fundação Getulio Vargas), a trusted CEMS partner since 2012, this milestone edition highlighted the alliance’s commitment to global collaboration and its growing engagement in Latin America. From the energy of the bateria echoing through the venue to the contagious joy of celebration à la brasileira, the atmosphere was pure Rio — warm, colorful, and full of rhythm.

Once a CEMSie, always a CEMSie!

Students and academics from our 33 leading business schools across all inhabited continents took part in the CEMS Annual Events (3-6 December), marking the 35th edition of the global Graduation Ceremony and reaffirming the alliance’s mission to build connections across cultures and borders.

This year, 1,200 students from 67 nationalities successfully completed the CEMS MIM. Whether they were Whether they were celebrating in Rio or cheering from afar, all graduates were part of this milestone moment for the community. They now join a global network of 22,850+ CEMS alumni - a community shaped by curiosity, collaboration and shared values.
