The 2023 edition of the CEMS LATAM FORUM at UAI brought together CEMSies from UAI (Chile), FGV-EAESP (Brazil), and UANDES (Colombia), along with the participation of local alumni interested in this engaging event. The event spanned over three consecutive days, featuring guest speakers and presentations from prominent companies, skill seminar, networking events, and various additional activities.

On November 6th and 8th, UAI’s CEMS LATAM FORUM had the privilege of hosting three Corporate Partners: DeloitteMcKinsey, Siemens Healthineers  at UAI’s Vitacura campus in Santiago, Chile. Students had the chance to learn insights about digitalization, technology, and the future of work from experienced representatives from top companies. In addition, there were guest speakers from potential future Corporate Partners, including Antofagasta Minerals (AMSA) and BHP, both significant mining companies in the Chilean and global markets. Students and alumni had the opportunity to interact, receive information, and ask questions with the Talent & Recruitment representatives from each organization.

The event also included a skill seminar with UAI’s visitant professor from Harvard Law, Bruce Allyn, focusing on the topic of 'Negotiation with AI.'. This seminar provided relevant observations about the increased use of AI and allowed participants to further prepare for a career in a more and more digitalized world.

CEMSies had the unique opportunity to attend an exciting activity outside the University premises, visiting one of the most important vineyards in Chile and the world, Concha & Toro Vineyard. With the guidance of an alumni currently working at the company, Nicolas Gasto (UAI/COR, 2021), participants explored the vineyard and learned about the company's prestigious position in the wine industry, as well as its implementation of various marketing strategies in the countries where its products are sold.

Finally, the LATAM Forum at UAI concluded with a social event where students interacted with each other and some of the guest speakers, enjoying a relaxed dinner against the backdrop of a beautiful sunset.

Thank you to Deloitte, McKinsey and Siemens Healthineers for their tremendous support during the CEMS LATAM Forum and for their continuous trust in the CEMS Global Alliance. Thank you to all guest speakers, participants and organizing team at UAI who attended this successful event!

The CEMS LATAM Forum will be back next year. Stay tuned for more to come!
