MSc degrees offered in combination with CEMS MIM:

Required Documents before arrival: 

All students are required to:

1. fill in the online application form for VSE

2. recieve a letter of acceptance

3. organize medical insurance from their home country covering medical repatriation for the full semester

4. organize a visa (if needed) - can take 2 - 3 months.

Enrolment as visiting Student: 

EXCHANGE NOMINATION DEADLINE: Nomination is carried out online through the university’s Exchange nomination deadline: a nomination is carried out online through the university's Integrated Study Information System InSIS. Partner coordinators will be informed per e-mail when nominations for the respective semester are open.

Course offer availability and registration: 

Students register for courses online. Please read the information about the registration and list of courses.

Language(s) of Instruction other than English: 

Czech language courses in case of interest.

Language requirement: 

Applicants to CEMS MIM at VSE must meet English and other language knowledge required before applying for the CEMS MIM at home universtiy (requirements are given centrally by CEMS Head Office). No extra requrements at VSE.

Language offer: 

Intensive Czech Language Course in August/September, more details here.

During the term there is intensive Czech language course available, the registration is the same as by regular courses.

Minimum and Maximum Workload requirements: 

Same as CEMS requirements - minimum 24 ECTS, maximum 37.5 ECTS per term.

Exams, Grading and pedagogical principles: 
 VSE GRADE TOTAL SCORE:
  • 1  100 - 90%
  • 2  89 - 75%
  • 3  74% - 60%
  • 4  less than 60%
VSE grading differs from CEMS grading. If an exchange student finishes course with 92%, he/she will get grade 1 according to the VSE system. This grade will be displayed in ISIS and also in VSE Transcript of Record. At the same time, in cems.org and CEMS Term Report this course will be graded with B.
