- 2000: May: First Student Board meeting in Paris. The Student Board is founded here. Much of the first year is spent on the development of the Student Board mission and goal.
- 2000: October: 2nd Student Board meeting in Vienna, Austria
- 2000: December: 3rd Student Board Meeting during the Annual Events in London
- 2000: December, Annual Events: The Student Board is accepted as a member of the Executive Board, and thereby becomes the official voice of the CEMS student body within the CEMS Governance structure.
2001
- 2001: March: 4th Student Board meeting in Geneva

- 2001: The Student Board supports the development of numerous CEMS Clubs. 12 CEMS Clubs exist by the end of 2001, with 3 more in the making.
- 2001: The Student Board participates in the Peer Reviews.
- 2001: The 1st Student Board newsletter is created.
2002
- 2002: May: 6th Student Board Meeting in Prague.
- 2002: May. The Content – Awareness – Networking structure is introduced on the Student Board. The structure would come govern the way we work for more than 7 years.
- 2002: September: 7th Student Board Meeting in Bruxelles
- 2002: The first Corporate Partner package is created combined with best practices to strengthen the connection between local clubs and Corporate Partners.
- 2002: The Student Board evaluates the MM Courses and help provide support in the organization and evaluation of the Block Seminars.
- 2002: The Student – Alumni – Mentorship Program is founded. SAMP is the chance for the students to make use of the valuable Alumni Association. Alumni volunteer as mentors and give advice on personal and professional development and support students in their career planning, and it is still in function today.
- 2002: The Student Board participates in the Peer Reviews.
- 2002: October, The first edition of the Student Book is distributed at the same time as the new CEMS MIM is launched for the first time. The 9th edition of the Student Book was published in fall 2010.

- 2002: The Student Board produces the first pieces of CEMS Student Board merchandising and it is distributed throughout the alliance.
2003
- 2003: March: 9th Student Board Meeting in Barcelona
- 2003: October: 10th Student Board Meeting in Paris
- 2003: 2nd Edition of Student Book is created.

- 2003: The Student Board participates in the Peer Reviews.
- 2003: The Articles of Association are created. The CEMS Student Board is officially located in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
- 2003: The production of CEMS Merchandising is increased.
2004
- 2004: April: 12th Student Board Meeting in Dublin
- 2004: September: 13th Student Board Meeting in Rotterdam
- 2004: First CEMS Club Conference takes place.
- 2004: 3rd Edition of Student Book is created.
- 2004: December: 14th Student Board Meeting in Stockholm
- 2004: December, Annual Events: The Student Board formally becomes an official invitee of the Academic Committee, CEMS Coordinators meetings, language sub-committee meetings and Task Forces. The growing presence of the Student Board throughout the CEMS Governance structure increased our influence.
- 2004: The Student Board participates in the Peer Reviews.
- 2004: The SB participates in the Bottlenecks Task Force on the Language Exams.
2005
- 2005: March: 15th Student Board Meeting in Barcelona
- 2005: September: 16th Student Board Meeting in Budapest
- 2005: December: 17th Student Board Meeting in Warsaw
- 2005: The Student Board participates in the Peer Reviews.
- 2005: 4th Edition of Student Book is created.
- 2005: The first CEMS Club Sponsoring Fund is created. The fund has since then been important in supporting and encouraging CEMS Clubs to host global CEMS events.
- 2005: Launch of the completely redesigned Student Private Zone on cems.org. The Student Board is very active in gathering information and providing recommendations with regards to this and other aspects of cems.org. This final design included a personal page with contact information, CV and career information and an up-to-date overview of CEMS MIM modules and courses, completion and grades. In addition, several other pages and databases were created or improved.
- 2005: Language Exams: The Student Board continues working with the Bottlenecks Task Force to ensure student feedback and recommendations language examination and training were integrated in the new language exams. The format of the exam is significantly updated.
- 2005: CEMS Globalization Task Force: We take part in the first Globalization Task force. The SB has been a member of this task force ever since.
- 2005: Student Board election policies are updated.
- 2005: The Quality and Format of CEMS Business Projects: We supported the CEMS office evaluation process of CEMS Business Projects and presented our ideas at the Academic Coordinators Meeting.
- 2005: Best Practices: More than 100 Best Practices are collected and gathered in a “CEMS Club Best Practices Overview” booklet. In addition Welcome Packages are created for CEMS Clubs and Student Board members.
- 2005: Merchandising and Awareness Projects: The following merchandising projects were initiated and materials produced – our first CEMS business cards, a travelling tag, a key/phone cord, post-its and a box with chocolates
- 2005: A partnership was initiated with ISIC – to provide co-branded CEMS-ISIC student cards offering discounts on travelling and many other student activities and products.
- 2005: Internship Project: Several “Internship Guides” with information on how to find internships in specific countries as an international student, including practical information as CV and Motivation Letter examples are created.
2006
- 2006: April: 18th Student Board Meeting in Milan

- 2006: The Student Board participates in the Peer Reviews.
- 2006: 5th Edition of Student Book is created.
- 2006: CSR is placed high on the agenda within the Student Board, and the work on a charity projects is undertaken.
- 2006: The creation of internship guides is finished.
- 2006: THE CEMS MOVIE: A CEMS Movie is created by the Student Board for promotional purposes. The movie shows interviews with faculty staff, students, corporate partners and alumni to give a 360 degrees description of CEMS and the MIM.
- 2006: KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT: the Student Board is increases its focus on transferring knowledge between years. An achive on CEMS.org is created to store information.
- 2006: BUSINESS CARDS: The production of CEMS Business Cards becomes more systematic
- 2006: CEMS CLUB CONFERENCE takes place with the goal of bringing together the presidents and/or vice-presidents of the different clubs to share experiences and best practices.
- 2006: CEMS DAY: In order to increase visibility of CEMS a project was set out to create content for an annual CEMS Day where the CEMS Clubs could have a booth in the foyer/hall of their University to inform undergraduate students about the opportunities offered by CEMS.
2007
- 2007: The “Walk for Hunger” event in May is organized by the Student Board
- 2007: Agreement with UNICEF on Schools for Africa project is made. The project will run from 2008 to 2010.
- 2007: The Student Board plays a key role in the decision to go global. Through thorough analyses of the benefits and drawbacks, the Student Board presents the convincing case for going global. By 2010, the CEMS Alliance reaches 25 full Academic Members, with presence on 5 continents.
- 2007: The Student Board participates in the Peer Reviews.

- 2008: The new core courses, Strategy and Cross Cultural Management, are introduced and the Student Board takes an active role in understanding the student expectations and interests.

- 2008: Student Board organizes a CEMS Movie Competition which aim was to motivate students in CEMS to prepare a promotional film material about their CEMS time.

2009
- 2009: Student Board plays an important role in the Selection task force, through extensive data gathering and data mining.
- 2009: Preliminary research on the CEMS language requirements with a main focus on the exceptions included.
- 2009: Student-input in regards to the cems.org reform (launched fall 2010)
- 2009: September: The Student Board introduces a new structure and mission statement in order to accommodate the global move by CEMS. The CAN structure becomes replaced with a structure that for the first time introduces CSR as a separate target area within the Student Board.

- 2009: Survey amongst CEMS Club Presidents to fully understand both their needs and knowledge.
- 2009: Opening up of the cemsshare.net communication platform to CEMS Club (Vice-) Presidents together with an extension of the knowledge base of support documents on how to manage a CEMS Club.
- 2009: December: Organization of an extended version of the CEMS Club Conference at the Annual Events in Cologne.
- 2009: Set-up of an online webplatform for CEMS Club websites, supporting them in the challenge of having an own student-lead website.

- 2009: Students are survey with regards to identifying areas for the inclusion of CSR in the MIM curriculum.
2010
- 2010: December: The Global Values Statement is launched for the first time during the Annual Events in Rotterdam. The GVS gives the CEMS MIM Graduates the opportunity to make a formal commitment to the CEMS principles on the day of their graduation.
- 2010: May: The Student Board encourages CEMS to sign the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) through taking the initial steps. In May 2010, the CEMS Executive Board accepts the proposal and CEMS becomes a signatory of the PRME.
- 2010: The Student Board participates in the Peer Reviews.
- 2010: 9th Edition of Student Book is created.
- 2010: April: 30th Student Board Meeting in Warsaw
- 2010: September: 31st Student Board Meeting in Istanbul
- 2010: December: 32nd Student Board Meeting in Rotterdam´
- 2010: 3rd version of the Student Board knowledge management platform is launched.
- 2010: May: New Selection Criteria are included. The Student Board successfully secures the inclusion of integrity in the new selection criteria.
- 2010: Continuation of the Schools for Africa (SFA) project in collaboration with Unicef. Humanitarian Weeks take place at most schools with the support of the Student Board.
- 2010: The SB is active in the discussion and selection of Social Partners. Two new Social Partners are ratified in Rotterdam.
- 2010: The Student Board is active in the planning of the session with Prof. Yunus, with the goal of creating new business projects focused on Social Business.
- 2010: A survey is created to understand the supply and demand of internships. The results of the survey have been utilized for the student response to the Career Service Task Force and will also be used for updating the current “Internship Guide”.
- 2010: The Cross Cultural Management course was investigated in order to find possible areas of improvement.
- 2010: Skill Seminars are investigated. Here the goal was to understand student interest and the components that make up a good skill seminar.
- 2010: The CEMS Language Exams are renamed to Management and Business Communication Exams based on Student Board input. The MBC guide is additionally updated to reflect the actual nature of the exams.
- 2010: Travel reports are gathered in order to ease the information search with regards to terms spent abroad (courses, housing, social life etc.). These will be published on the internal section of cems.org in the beginning of 2011.
- 2010: Special edition merchandising is created to raise money for Schools for Africa. More than €8000 worth of merchandise has been sold during 2010.
- 2010: The readership of the Student Board newsletter reaches 1000.
- 2010: Support has been provided in the creation of two new regional events – The Marenostrum and V4 regional events will complement the Nordic Forum and LOUROPA.
- 2010: Collection and sharing of numerous best practices. We have collected more than 50 best practices during the course of 2010. The best practices are related to CEMS Club run events, and are provided to all clubs though an online database.
- 2010: The board has worked on gathering and organizing relevant information with regards to Corporate Partner communication and involvement in order to ensure to increase the effectiveness with which the clubs can attract CPs to their events.

- 2010: The Student Board is part of numerous taskforces; Selection Process, Career Services & Alumni, Branding and Communication and Languages. The Student Board has collected and provided input for the taskforces, as well as engaged in discussions.
- 2010: Student Board 10th Anniversary Booklet is created with an overview of what the SB has achieved over the last 10 years. Information from all the previous SB presidents have been collected and assembled in a booklet, which is printed and distributed at the CEMS Annual Meeting in Rotterdam.
