“Hong Kong is simply one of the most amazing and exciting places in the world. No other city offers the same kind of link between east and west. From a professional perspective, it’s Asia’s financial center and home base for countless international companies. Students can enjoy all the city has to offer in terms of culture, food, and outdoor activities and at the same time study at one of the best universities in Asia,” said David Esser, student HKUST and exchange at University of Sydney.

Often referred to as the gateway to China, studying in Hong Kong offers students multiple opportunities that include gaining invaluable experiences and insights into the Asian market while living in a diverse multicultural city. “Asia is the hub of economic growth of the world. Hong Kong is uniquely situated in the heart of the region. It is a 5-hour flight away from half the world’s population giving it easy access to China, India and Southeast Asia,” noted Mr. Sean Ferguson, Associate Dean (MBA & MSc Programs).

The CEMS MIM at HKUST also provides graduates with entry to this gateway through into this region: “The program serves as an academic bridge connecting the East and the West,’’ said Professor Bilian Sullivan, Academic Director of HKUST MIMT Program.

For students, in addition to an entry into this gateway is both in location HKUST and in the unique learning environment. “The well-designed structure of the education offers students chances to touch upon different topics both pragmatic and theoretic within business management, and prepares us from comprehensive aspects for our upcoming business careers,’’ said Siyi Sherry Fang, student at HKUST and exchange at Copenhagen.

CEMS academic and corporate members work collectively to develop knowledge and provide education that is essential in the multilingual, multicultural and interconnected business world. This is evident in the entire HKUST offering and experience which is rooted in diversity that can be seen in the diverse student body.
