Common Application Requirements

CEMS member schools select students locally. In order to apply students must follow the local application procedure. However, certain common application requirements apply to all CEMS candidates.
  • Enrolment in a selected Master's programme in Management/Business Administration at one of the CEMS partner schools.
  • Proof of academic preparation: either a Bachelor's in Management or Economics or a related field or the equivalent of a one year of full-time education at Master's level in any of these areas (eventually to be presented at the programme start)
  • For non-native English speakers proficiency in English language at advanced level. The following proofs of proficiency are accepted : language Exams:  IELTS (7.0 or higher), TOEFL (iBT100 or higher), CAE ("A", “B”), BEC Higher ( "A", "B") or CPE ("A", "B", "C"); the candidate has passed one of the accredited local language exams, the candidate has received a Bachelor diploma in an English speaking country, or in a CEMS or an EQUIS/AACSB accredited institution.
  • For native English speakers proficiency in a CEMS language - which can be either Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) Czech, Danish, Dutch/Afrikaan, Finnish, French, German, Hindi/Urdu, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish or Arabic – is a must.
  • Provide proof of proficiency in any other foreign language declared for MIM studies through any locally available testing method (subject to local requirements)

Applicants are required to submit additional documentation based on local admissions requirements at the designated school. Based on the documents provided by the applicant, (s)he may be invited to a selection interview or an assessment centre.
