On the basis of the arrival of a new cohort of CEMS MIM students the global expansion of the CEMS alliance continues apace.
The entering class totals an all-time high of 920 students, representing a 16% rise in 3 years. It is also one of the most cosmopolitan in the 23-year history of CEMS. 59 nationalities are represented within, of which 25 are non-European.
The cohort is also becoming increasingly balanced in comparison with its original purely European roots, with 12% of students now from outside of Europe, almost triple the percentage of 3 years ago.
The current academic year is also the first time that the CEMS Master’s in International Management is delivered in Japan, bringing the total to 25 countries. This could rise to 26 for 2011-12 in the event of Tsinghua School of Economics & Management being ratified as a full member at the Lisbon Annual Events in December.
