« Walk the World » was launched in cooperation with the
United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and TNT, to organize major public
events in CEMS locations throughout Europe and the world. These events were
organized to raise awareness and funds for WFP in order to eliminate hunger,
and create better opportunities for children who live in extremely poor

The HandiKapp-Nord Project was a 4650 kilometers’ adventure
in the Northern countries to collect funds for the spinal cord research.
The CEMS Alumni Association decided to support Yves Néron-Bancel in this
project. He is himself a CEMS Alumni, and has been paraplegic for 10 years,
