The CEMS Student Board was founded in 2000 to fulfil the need for CEMS MIM student representation in the CEMS community. The Student Board is now a well-established representative body, with elected members from each CEMS school and one student representing Associate Academic members.

The President and Treasurer/Vice President, elected by their peers, carry out a mandate of one year.

With the support of Group Leaders, the SB focuses in 3 main areas:


		To maintain and improve CONTENT
The CEMS MIM (Master’s in International Management) is a crucial part of a student’s academic and interpersonal development. Therefore the Student Board communicates and documents the students’ point of view to enable continuous growth while maintaining the high quality of education necessary for the development of the global leaders of tomorrow.

		To raise AWARENESS
The market value of an academic degree does not only depend on its quality, but also on its awareness in the academic and corporate world. The Student Board aims to strongly position the CEMS MIM brand as a European standard of excellence on management education offering the corporate world highly educated internationally-minded graduates.

		To strengthen the NETWORK
CEMS is a truly European community with members living and working all over the world in leading positions. It is a network not only of school- and company representatives, but first and foremost of students and alumni. The Student Board aims to strengthen this network by building more and stronger bonds between CEMS students and CEMS alumni all over the globe.
