To enter the CEMS MIM Degree Programme, students undergo a rigorous selection process. This ensures that only the very best of management students begin the programme. The programme is open only to students also enrolled in a Master's in Management programme at one of the CEMS member universities.

Selection is based on students’
potential to meet the following criteria: |
| |
Knowledge (intellectual and
analytical skills, language competencies) |
Interpersonal competencies |
Desire to achieve |
Integrity |
International orientation |
| The selection process begins
6 months to one year before the start of the programme
when students are required to submit a written or online
application which is submitted to one of the local CEMS
Offices. This is followed by an oral interview in the
form of a jury interview or assessment centre. Assessment
is conducted by academics together with corporate representatives.
The involvement of a local CEMS alumnus in the process
is encouraged. |
