The globalization of business and industry generates an increased demand for global leadership potential. Managers of tomorrow need to be able to maximize organizational performance and business results in a complex, dynamic and changing environment. Yet, it is human interactional competences, and an ability to use cultures as a resource for global organizational effectiveness as well as knowledge, that differentiates successful leaders.

The purpose of the Cross-Cultural Management Faculty Group is to provide a platform for education and research in the field of cross-cultural management. The objectives of the CEMS faculty group are:

  • To identify and cultivate key global competences of CEMS students, and prepare them to take leadership roles in complex settings
  • To provide research based knowledge and practice applications, relevant to global business challenges
  • To develop culturally intelligent leaders and globally responsible citizens
  • To promote awareness, understanding and collaboration in a culturally dynamic world
  • To teach how to to utilize complexity as an asset and an opportunity for achieving best results
  • To lead innovation in the field of CCM education, research and practice
  • To develop, share and disseminate knowledge in the field of Cross-Cultural Management

The Faculty Group welcomes all interested CEMS faculty members to participate and contribute.
