CEMS alumni make excellent international managers. To back up this perception with hard facts, CEMS decided to prepare an in-depth survey and to distribute it widely to alumni with several years work experience.

The Alumni Survey 2005 had a twofold objective:
to see what career paths are chosen by Alumni
to ascertain what values are held by alumni both professionally and socially

More than 1,700 of its alumni population. Designed to analyse their career progress, priorities and views, the survey was carried out from March 8th until April 3rd 2005 through an Internet based questionnaire comprising 46 key questions. With a total of 558 alumni returning the survey, the response rate was approximately 30%.

The survey population is composed of 65% men and 35% women. The respondents had an average age of 30.5 years with the overwhelming majority belonging to the 26-33 age group. The youngest alumnus to reply was 23 years of age and the oldest 42 years.
