Nordic Forum

The Nordic Forum is the largest CEMS career event in the Nordic countries. Hosted on a rotating basis by the Scandinavian CEMS member schools, the Nordic Forum bridges the gap between students and the corporate world through company presentations and skill seminars, and also offers students the chance to enhance their network.

The Nordic Forum 2012 will be hosted in Stockholm and take place on 25-27 October.  Over the three interactive days, 90 CEMS students from Aalto University School of Economics, NHH Norwegian School of Economics, Copenhagen Business School and the Stockholm School of Economics will convene at the Stockholm campus to attend interactive seminars and listen to inspirational speakers. During the event Corporate Partners will discuss topics pertaining to the central theme. Students will gain insight into the ways corporations deal with a rapidly changing business landscape and will have an opportunity to apply their knowledge during the skill seminars.

The topic of Nordic Forum 2012 is “Management in the Face of Globalisation”.

In addition to seminars and inspirational lectures the Nordic Forum 2012 will offer an attractive social programme, which enables the students to meet in non-academic settings. The social activities will provide the opportunity for the students to enhance their networks across CEMS and to explore the wonderful city of Stockholm.

What’s in it for the students:

• The opportunity to meet active Corporate Partners and learn about their recruitment processes

• Interesting, interactive skill seminars and inspirational lectures

• The chance to broaden their social network and socialise with other CEMS students from various schools and nationalities

What’s in it for the Corporate Partners:

• An opportunity to meet approximately 90 highly motivated international students

• The chance to tell students more about their companies

• An excellent opportunity to recruit potential future employees – experience shows that students tend to apply for jobs at companies with which they have had interaction during their studies.
