 Services and Facilities

Health insurance:

Health insurance is required. Though it can also be purchased in Russia (average cost is 0.50 euro per day), however it is highly recommended that students purchase their health insurance before leaving home country. The Russian Consulates usually require a copy/proof of health insurance policy to issue a student visa.

Visa:

Foreign citizens need a visa to enter and exit Russia. To get a visa, the passport should be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the semester at GSOM
An official GSOM SPbSU letter of invitation is required to apply for a visa. According to the Russian Federation laws, a GSOM SPbSU invitation may request only a 30 or 90 days Russian visa with a single entry. Upon arrival, students will be "registered" for the semester and will get multi-entry visa, however a “processing time” of 4-6 is often required. www.gsom.pu.ru/en/international_contacts/office/int_studen ts/info_practical/#2
