Key points

MIM programme at this school

The vision of Aalto University carries a strong commitment to building a sustainable society driven by innovation and entrepreneurship. The CEMS MIM programme at Aalto executes the vision by educating global game changers in a cross-disciplinary and entrepreneurial learning environment.

The MIM programme leverages deep industry-academia relationships and the CEMS Corporate partner involvement in educational elements offers a rich blend of managerial and academic perspectives.

Aalto University offers students two ways of enrolling in the CEMS MIM programme:

  1. The two-year MSc in Global Management programme automatically integrates the CEMS MIM curriculum.
  2. An add-on CEMS MIM opportunity available for students enrolled in any Aalto University Master’s programme. Students apply to the add-on CEMS usually during the first year of their MSc studies.

Living in the city

The lively Aalto University campus is located in Otaniemi, Espoo, just a short metro ride away from the city center of Helsinki. Helsinki is a vibrant seaside city of beautiful islands and great green urban areas. Helsinki marches to a wonderful beat of its own with dynamic food, design, architecture - and sauna! -scenes.

Finland is a unique, humorous and hip country that allows people to be themselves. Some think Finns are a little strange, in a good way, with our fascination for saunas, coffee, heavy metal music or dipping in icy water in the winter. On the other hand, Finland is renowned for its sensibleness and practicality. We top international comparisons in education, equality, safety and quality of life. People can be trusted and everyone is taken care of. We have plenty of ‘sisu’, or guts: we never give up.

CEMS Club Helsinki

CEMS Club Helsinki enriches the CEMS experience for students, corporate partners, alumni and faculty by organizing various activities throughout the year: from seminars and workshops to more casual, fun-filled events such as cottage weekends, sports activities, humanitarian initiatives and trips in Finland and abroad. The traditionally  active student life at Aalto together with the low hierarchies in Finland paves the way for versatile and numerous CEMS Club activities: cemsclubhelsinki@gmail.com
