- Creation of the CEMS Student Board.
- Launch of the European Business Forum, in conjunction with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
- The total number of Corporate Partners exceeds 50 for the first time.
2002
- Official introduction of the CEMS MIM.
- Launch of the CEMS student and alumni mentorship programme (SAMP).
2005
- The CEMS MIM is rated n°3 Master’s in Management in the inaugural Pan-European Financial Times ranking.
- Creation of the CEMS Strategic Board.
2007
- The Executive Board approves the new CEMS globalisation strategy.
2008
- CEMS launches its new visual identity, comprising a new logo and the institutional baseline “The Global Alliance in Management Education”, marking the end of the signification “The Community of European Management Schools”
2009
- The CEMS MIM is rated n°1 pre-experience Master’s in Management in the world by the inaugural global Financial Times ranking.
- The Career Forum becomes a separate event from the Annual Events and is hosted by Corvinus University of Budapest.
- The total number of CEMS alumni exceeds 5,000 following the Cologne-hosted graduation ceremony.
2010
- The entering cohort of students exceeds 900 for the first time, comprising a record 64 nationalities.
- The total number of Corporate Partners exceeds 60 for the first time.
- CEMS becomes a signatory of the PRME principles for responsible management education, welcomes Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus to the Rotterdam-hosted Annual Events and introduces two major CSR initiatives: the Global Values Statement and the introduction of NGOs into the organisation as Social Partners.
2011
- Keio University become the 25th member school to deliver the CEMS MIM. The 2011-12 academic year begins with another record cohort of 920 students.
